His undergraduate (MBChB) training was obtained in 2002 from the University of Pretoria. After completing community services in 2004, he worked in United Kingdoms as a resident medical officer for a private health care group for 1year. From 2006–2010,
Dr Sandamela worked in Canada North America as a family physician. Here turned to his home university in Pretoria to obtained his postgraduate masters degree (Mmed) in surgery and FCS (SA).
He shared his expertise with junior doctors at Sebokeng Government Hospital. He was appointed as a lecture with Wits. He has a private practice
